With league rugby not kicking off again until 26th September, attention this weekend turns to the cups, and Goole's second team make the trip across the Ouse to Barton on Humber for round one of the Yorkshire Vase.
Head Coach Greg Bone has picked a strong squad for the tie. Up front, James Walton and Fenton prop either side of a powerful-looking front row, giving Goole a solid platform to work from. Behind them, Harman starts at scrum-half, with Devenish shifting to stand-off to run the show.
In midfield, the forceful centre pairing of Cook and Donoghue will look to punch holes, while pace out wide comes courtesy of Tinning and Jerry-Murray. Holt rounds off the back line at full-back, offering an extra attacking outlet.
