2nds Lose Out at Ionians

Goole 2s and 3s made the short trip over to Hull Ionians to play their latest Merit league and Merit table games respectively. The 3rds, having the usual mix of youth and experience, succumbed to a heavy 47-0 defeat to a powerful home side, the 2nds also suffered a defeat, going down 48-17 against last seasons championship side, Goole’s scores coming through tries for Will Devenish (2) and Adam Wileman, Will Devenish adding one conversion.
